I could use a dream or a genie or a wish.

Ninth of May, as you all know is Mother's Day. And it is also my parent's Wedding Anniversary.

And tenth of May, is Catherine's birthday.

I celebrated both these special days on the ninth. Because I think Cath's not free the next day or something.

1. Went for brunch with the parents at Grand Imperial Restaurant at the USJ19 City Mall near my house.

The menu.

Beautiful chandelier.

Keyi likes this picture. So, tadah!

People mountain, people sea really.

My plate and uhm, chopsticks.
Oh and somehow the soy sauce there tasted extra delicious.

As it was quite early, they only had dim sum and not much of other dishes yet. So oh well, had to go on with dim sum since we're already there. Anyway, I couldn't adjust the correct mode for my camera so some of the pictures turned out to be really blur. Nonetheless I only took a few pictures of the food because the blurry pictures really did a great job by annoying the shit out of me.

Chee cheong fun with char siew.

Some fried mini buns with chicken floss inside.
Delicious oohlala.

Salad prawn with parsley and some fried thingy with char siew filling.
Yumssss.

Har gao.
I eat the har gao without the gao. Meaning, I eat the prawns without the skin outside it.
So yeaah, but the prawns were huge and crunchy.

My favourite fish balls.
Very flavourful, I can eat ten of this haha.

Siew mai.
Again, the prawns were hugeeee.

Vast array of wine displayed.

In my opinion, food was good. But the service was really lousy. We spent almost two hours there. Food came really slow and we couldn't get any waiter to check with on the food. Even the bill took around twenty minutes to come.

Dad was really furious so I guess there's no more next time to dining there. I don't mind slow food as long as it is good, Daddd. ):

2. Went to the photo shop in USJ 2 to get my picture taken for my driving license. No more P driver yo! (: But heck, the pictures turned out like crap. Ahh who cares. I'll just hide them in my wallet.

3.

Event : Cath's Pre-Birthday Celebration.

Venue : Hostel, SS14, Empire Gallery and SS15.

Participants : Myself, Keyi, Cai Ling, Hwee San, Yeannin and of course Cath.

Drove to college's hostel around six in the evening. Picked them up first then Cath. We discussed in the car outside of Lagoon View on what and where to eat. Cath suggested Bah Kut Teh and everyone agreed. Although I don't fancy pork but I love the soup. So I took them to my regular Bah Kut Teh shop in SS14. Funny how nice we dressed to eat in a Bak Kut Teh shop haha.

My oh so favourite came first.
Dried Bah Kut Teh.

The original Bak Kut Teh.
The lady there kept refilling the soup for us omg.

Vegie with oyster sauce and topped with fried shallots.

Our mouthwatering dinner.

Time for after food pictures.

Yeannin and I.

(:

Snow White Cath.

We wanted Snowflakes badly but our stomach just wouldn't anything to go in anymore. Too full. So I brought them to the new mall in town, the Empire Gallery. Awesome place I would say. The mall looks rather high class. Definitely going to be my hang out place for now. Not to mention, free parking some more. Can't wait for Chili's to open there!

First thing we did was went to the toilet to camwhore. The toilet is full with mirrors, wow. We went walking after that. Trying on heels in Charles & Keith and I saw a pair of heels that I fancy a lot there, aww.

All smiles.

Everyone.

Toilet posers.

Cath and I.

Fascinated with the pretty toilets.

Cupcakes.

The one of a kind Starbucks.

Five beautiful ladies.
Ahh and not forgetting the camerawoman.

Free performance.

Beautiful handmade paper flowers as decorations.

With us.

They even have bird cages as decorations.

Impressive.

Jacoon people never see Guess before. Hahh.

Woo huge cleavage alert.

More colour papers decorations.

And then we went to Toys "R" Us since we were too free.

The entrance.

Doodolls!

Cath and a bear that she loves.

Patrick and Spongebob, aww.

Lady in pink.

The mini animals and houses that everyone is in love with.

The house with stairs.

Gawdd, they even have a Crepe store.
Luckier than we humans, eh?

Yellow kindergarten truck.

Their very own kitchen.

Busy with their things.

Tall versus Short.

Hwee San is happy with the little rabbit that she bought.
It hops and hops.

Hwee San's Mr Giraffe.
And Cai Ling looks super chio.

No, we're not promoting the store.

((:

Hi everyone. Meet Elmo.

Down to car park.

Left the place around nine and went straight to SS15 for Snowflakes.

Big round eyes.

Cath and Cai Ling.

Snowflake's bestseller.

Pearls, red beans and taro.

Ocha balls with red beans.

Colourful.

Happy people. (:

The droplet of water.

Woo iceee.

The receipt.

After Snowflakes, I had to rush to RT Pastry House to collect a cake I got for my mum two nights ago. Wanted to surprise my mum, so yeah. Fetched everyone back to hostel and we surprised Cath with her present. We bought her the uhm, I don't know what is it called but it's very cute from Toys "R" Us earlier. Remember the mini animals and houses? Yeaah, that.

Happy girl going gaga over her present.

After the surprise and sending Cath back to Lagoon View, I went home straight. Afraid that the cake will melt or something haha. Sooo I went home and surprised her with the cake. She doesn't look surprise but according to Keyi, my mum looks happy. Oh yayy.

The Greenery Love.
Love how they put the white chocolate heels there.

Three big candles and a small one to represent their thirty fifth anniversary.

My dearest mum.

My family.

Blowing candles. Hahaa so cute.

A red carnation for Mum.
Free with every cake bought from RT on Mother's Day.

My portion.

Used candles.

Apparently, the green tea cake is RT's bestseller. But I don't really like it. The green tea part was okay. But I don't fancy red beans and they have layers of cream with red beans in it Ahh the horror. But my mum says it's good. Everything is good if she says it's nice since it's for her.

I want RT's Opera cake for my birthday! (;

Till today, the carnation is still alive because I spray it with water everyday.

Happy Belated Mother's Day, Mum!

And Happy Belated Birthday to Catherine too!
